Conveyors
Conveyors move loose product or finished packs between stages of a production line, reducing repeated manual transfers and linking processing, filling and sealing equipment. Depending on the task, a conveying system may use belts, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, vibratory feeders or turntables to transfer, raise, feed or accumulate products.
Typical uses include lifting grains, nuts or coffee beans to a weigher, feeding suitable powders through a screw conveyor, and moving filled bags, trays or cartons to sealing, inspection or packing stations. The conveying method should match the product's flow and fragility, the transfer height and the required cleaning standards. Loose ingredients and finished packs generally need different handling arrangements.
