Over Wrappers
Over wrappers place a film covering around individual products or grouped items and seal it to form a finished pack. This range includes horizontal flow wrappers, which carry products through a film former, make a lengthwise seal and seal between successive packs. The wrapping and feeding arrangement varies with the machine and the shape of the product.
They suit repeated wrapping of items such as biscuits, bakery products, confectionery, soap, small cartons and supported or tray-held products. A suitable infeed can also help handle soft or loose items that do not travel reliably on their own. Product size, fragility, film compatibility and the required seal style guide machine selection; wrapping alone does not establish food shelf life.
