Band Sealers
Band sealers continuously close pre-filled bags by carrying the open bag mouth between heated sealing bands, then cooling the seal. A conveyor supports and moves the filled bag while controlled heat and pressure bond its heat-sealable inner surfaces. Different configurations hold bags upright or lay them flat to suit the contents and bag format.
They are useful for repeated bag-sealing work where manually closing each pack would slow production. Typical products include coffee beans, nuts, grains, seeds, dried foods, powders and small hardware components. Upright handling can help contain loose products, while the bag material, seal temperature and a clean sealing area must be matched to the product and machine.
